Our Team

Alex Moiseev

Alex has over 22 years of direct experience in trading and investment management. He became one of the first members of the Russian Stock & Commodity Exchange in 1990. From 1992, he created hedging techniques for commodity importers and exporters before becoming a professional trader in 1994. In 2001 he began managing funds for private clients, leading to the establishment of Dighton Capital in 2003.
Alex holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Moscow Oil and Gas Academy.

Thomas Iriart

Thomas began his career at Calyon working on the interest rate trading desk, before obtaining a position in the Alternative Investment department at Société Générale Asset management. Then, Thomas teamed up with senior investment managers to establish a global macro hedge fund based in France. Thomas joined Dighton in 2008.
Thomas holds a M.Sc. from the Institut Supérieur d’Electronique de Paris and is a CAIA charterholder.

Irina Soroko

Irina has been working for Dighton since its inception in 2003 and currently holds a position as Relationship Manager. Prior to this, she has worked as legal support and contract analyst for the International Venture Capital group.
Irina holds a degree in Management from the Baltic Academy of Business in St. Petersburg and has a specialized qualification in compliance.

Dmitry Vakhnin

Dmitry started his professional experience as the assistant of the Minister of Economic Affairs of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Then, he joined the international Commercial Bank project team in Africa. Dmitry has participated in a number of investment and financial projects in Northeastern Europe. He joined Dighton in 2007.
Dmitry holds a Master of Finance degree from Institute of International Relations and a degree of Linguistics of Oriental languages from Kyiv Taras Shevchenko University.
